Internoise 2015

I have just attended Internoise 2015 in San Francisco. There were over 1000 attendees from many parts of the world and a few Aussies as well. It was great to catch up with colleagues and friends and to attend some very good papers. Building acoustics, as always, attracts attention and there were many papers about impact noise and solving that problem. Aircraft and environmental noise also had a lot of papers, all up I think there were some 700 papers and posters.

I had the privilege of being the Internoise 2014 President in Melbourne last year. As a result, I am on the Board of I-INCE for the next three years and I attended two Board meetings culminating in a Board dinner on Wednesday night. And then goodbye to colleagues and see you again in Hamburg next August.
